Ideas to run with

The format is the same. The topic is up to you—sports, culture, or inside jokes. Here are a few of the most common use cases.

Watch party & gameday

Pregame props for the big game, bowl season, playoffs, or any match—odds-optional, all about bragging rights.

Office & team building

Lunch-bet style sheets without the messy spreadsheet—one link, one leaderboard for your crew.

Party & event

Birthdays, reunions, weddings, baby showers: guess outcomes, run the reveal your way, laugh at the results.

Fundraiser & school

Pledge-friendly prediction games: simple to explain, fun to play, and easy to share for supporters or parents night.

Awards, TV & pop culture

Oscars, finales, reality TV—if you can phrase it as a pick, you can run it on a prop sheet.

Just for fun

Nonsense predictions, roasts, and friend-group chaos—if you can type it, you can score it.

Questions people ask

Is this only for sports games?

No. You can use Sportsball for any event where a prop-style sheet is fun: Super Bowl, Oscars, charity trivia, wedding weekend predictions, baby shower “guess the date” sheets, or an office “who will win the bake-off” pool. The format is the same: questions, choices, and your answers drive the scoreboard.

How are prop games scored?

By default, the host (you) records the right answers. Every player’s sheet updates when you enter results—so the game stays in sync for parties and fundraisers when you are ready to score, not only when a feed goes live. That keeps it flexible for anything, not just televised events.

Do players get live updates?

Yes. When scores change, everyone on the game sees the same live standings and point totals. One link, one shared view—on phones, tablets, or desktop browsers.

Can we use a prop game for a fundraiser or party?

Yes. Set up a sheet of predictions for your event, share the link, and use it as a social layer—pizza party predictions, end-of-year awards, or charity ‘guess the amount raised’ without needing a sports book. It is a prediction and bragging-rights experience, not gambling for money on Sportsball.

Is this gambling or real money betting?

Sportsball is a social prediction game, not a sportsbook. There are no wagers, payouts, or real-money lines through the app. It is a prop sheet–style game you run with friends, teams, or supporters.

Is the experience less cluttered than other pool or party sites on mobile?

Sportsball is built mobile-first, so the pool actually works in the phone browser the way your group uses it in the room. The experience has no in-game advertising, and you are not funneled through the repeated cookie, tracking, and privacy modals that many older office-pool and pool-hosting sites add on every visit. The flow is open the link, make picks or claim a square, follow the live board—where legacy tools often still feel like desktop software squeezed into a small screen.
