Prize & Official Rules

These rules apply when Sportsball offers a prize on a public global challenge. The specific game page states whether prizes are in play and what they are. Private-game hosts who award their own prizes off-platform are not covered here.

1. No purchase necessary

Players never pay to enter a public challenge. Host fees for private games are separate and are not an entry into a public prize promotion.

2. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 to claim a prize (account creation remains 13+ in the Terms)
• You must have a signed-in Sportsball account to claim a physical prize
• Kim Wormley dba Sportsball Games and members of that household are not eligible
• Void where prohibited. Not open to residents of any state, territory, or country where this promotion, or sports-adjacent prizes of this kind, are unlawful. We may require proof of residence and may refuse a claim from a restricted location.

3. How to win

Winners are determined by the game's published scoring (jelly beans, squares periods, or placement).

For pick'em games, remaining ties after the game's skill rules (for example closest total-points pick when the game has an active tiebreaker) share that placement. We do not break ties by random draw.

If more than one eligible player shares a prize-winning placement, we may award each a prize of equal or greater value, substitute a prize, or not award that physical prize.

For squares, the winner is the occupant of the matching square for that period's score. If no one occupies that square, there is no prize for that period.

4. Claiming

We will email eligible winners a claim link. You must submit a valid shipping address through that form.

If you do not provide a valid shipping address within 14 days of that email, we may treat the prize as forfeited and are not required to hold it indefinitely.

Prizes are merchandise of limited value as stated on the game. We may substitute a prize of equal or greater value. We do not award cash through Sportsball.

Winners are solely responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes associated with prize receipt. We may require tax information (including IRS Form 1099) before shipping if legally required.

To request a winners list for a completed challenge, email or mail us within 60 days after that challenge ends. We will provide winner identifiers we actually have (for example display name, or first name and last initial). We do not provide winner email addresses.
